$75,000 for 325 hp. Damn that’s crazy

Those 325hp will get you around a curvy track much MUCH quicker than 700hp in a hellcat for the same price. HP isn’t always king.

They went the Porsche route and charged a crapload more to remove things from the car.

“Oh, you DON’T want back seats or air conditioning? That will be an extra $25,000 please”

... I wonder what they would go for?

Probably not any quicker than a C7 Z06 will for the same price...

Totally dependent on the track. A C7 Z06 will be much faster in the straights but a purpose built race car with a race level braking system, splitter and wing, and proper suspension designed for the track will be MUCH faster in the corners and braking zones than a Z06. On longer track sessions the Z06 would get major brake fade compared to the FR500S. Also, the FR500S comes with a complete roll cage, 5 point harness, and a fire supression system. I know which one I would take in a race - The safe one.

I don’t think the Mustang would be much faster in the corners. Put them both on the same tires, I honestly think it would be a lot closer than you’d think.
I also know I wouldn't pay $75k for a mustang race car
